Of the questions my clients and others in the crane industry have asked regarding OSHA's new crane regulation, the majority have been about the basic requirements for riggers and signalpersons. The best way to answer those questions is to review the applicable portion of the Cranes and Derricks in Construction regulation and the preamble carefully. That being said, government regulations are not the easiest reading.
