JLG’s New BIM Library Designed to Ease Rental Equipment Planning

Date: 26-06-2018 / Author: kscally

MCCONNELLSBURG, Pa. — JLG Industries Inc. launched a BIM library on its website.

BIM (building information modelling) is an intelligent 3D model-based process that gives architecture and construction professionals the insight and tools to more efficiently plan, design, construct, and manage buildings and infrastructure.

For rental companies, a major advantage of BIM is that, at a very early stage, the equipment required at a jobsite can be identified and its transportation planned. This will allow the right product is delivered at the right time to complete the work at hand.
