The ALL family of companies has added a total of 40 new Link-Belt cranes to its national fleet.
The package purchase includes 20 lattice-boom crawler cranes from 110 to 200 USt (100 to 182 mt); six TCC-1100 telescopic-boom crawler cranes (110 USt, 100 mt); nine truck cranes (six HTC-8675 [75 USt, 70 mt] and three HTC-86100 [100 USt, 85 mt]); four ATC-3210 all-terrain cranes (210 USt, 185 mt); and one RTC-80150 rough-terrain crane (150 USt, 135 mt).
“This package consists of a few replacement cranes, since sales for used equipment have been strong, as well as many units that are new to the fleet," said Michael Liptak, president of the ALL family of companies. "The deal is part of our commitment to planned fleet expansion, but I want to emphasize that Link-Belt is a staple in our national rental fleet and growing with them, specifically considering that we are a Link-Belt dealer in Wisconsin, was important.”
This large first-quarter purchase, particularly the crawler cranes, speaks to the surging demand in core markets, particularly road and bridge work and power generation.
Liptak added that the Link-Belt lattice-boom crawler cranes in the package hit the sweet spots in capacity right now, with eight 218 HSL (110 USt, 100 mt), six 238 HSL (150 USt, 136 mt), and six 248 HSL (200 USt, 182 mt).
In fact, crane rental demand is increasing in all sectors as the economy continues to improve, Liptak said. “Even though ALL has one of the industry’s largest and most technologically advanced fleets, we always want to be able to fulfill our customers’ requirements. Link-Belt, celebrating their 140th anniversary this year, is an important partner for us because their equipment offers the kind of power, quality, and reliability our customers want,” he added.
The new cranes will be delivered and distributed among the ALL family of Ccmpanies’ branches starting immediately and continuing through 2015.
