New York, N.Y., May 2013—No one was injured but a piece of art was damaged when an out-of-control sports car crashed into a truck crane in New York City. The crane was lifting a piece of art when the car lodged itself under the crane’s supporting outrigger. The collision caused the piece of art to fall. The car’s driver fled the scene on foot. Shortly before hitting the crane, the car had hit a pedestrian, another car, and a motorcyclist. None of them was hurt. – abclocal.go.com/wabc
