BRADEN Introduces TR25 and TR35 Hydraulic Planetary Winches

BRADEN has introduced two new hydraulic planetary winches, the TR25 (pictured above) and TR35, expanding its TR Series product line.

The TR Series is built around BRADEN’s planetary gear technology and is designed for trailer manufacturers, towing and recovery fleets, utility operations, forestry equipment and related applications. The TR25 and TR35 feature a compact, low-profile housing intended to fit into limited installation spaces. Both models use an industry-standard 18-inch mounting bolt pattern, allowing them to serve as direct replacements for existing hydraulic winches.

Each model includes a gear train designed for high efficiency and a drum supported by low-friction ball bearings to reduce power loss under load. Both winches use urethane brake seals for protection in abrasive environments and an oil bath lubrication system to support maintenance and service life. Operators can select either manual or air-actuated freespool clutch engagement.

The TR25 is rated for a 25,000-pound (11,340-kilogram) line pull and is available in short and long drum configurations. It accommodates 9/16-inch (14-millimeter) or 5/8-inch (16-millimeter) wire or synthetic rope. The TR35 is rated for a 35,000-pound (15,876-kilogram) line pull and provides capacity for 155 feet (47.2 meters) of 3/4-inch (19-millimeter) wire rope. Both winches comply with SAE J706 winch performance standards.

According to the company, the TR Series was developed for use by both original equipment manufacturers and equipment operators, with a focus on installation flexibility and serviceability for high-capacity winching applications.
