Bronto Skylift Expands Service Capabilities in the U.S. with Texas Facility

Bronto Skylift, a global supplier of truck-mounted aerial platforms, is expanding its U.S. service operations with a new facility near Dallas, Texas. The Texas Service Center is designed to provide enhanced maintenance, training, product support, rebuilds and upgrades for customers across the country.

“This strategic move significantly improves our service capabilities here in the U.S. The goal is to bring the factory-level capabilities closer to the customer,” said Matias Takala, service manager U.S. Takala brings 14 years of industry experience, having worked in rental and blade repair companies in roles ranging from operator to fleet and operations management.

Juha Pietilä, senior manager, global service of Bronto Skylift, added, “We are thrilled to have Matias at the helm of our local service operations. His extensive experience of the industry and customer’s needs is a great addition to our global service team.”

Operations at the new Rhome, Texas, location will begin before the end of 2025, with operations from the current Orlando, Florida, facility transferring in early 2026. The service center will stock a larger inventory of spare parts to enable next-day delivery for common components anywhere in the U.S.

The aim is to provide the best service and product support to maximize the uptime for our customers. Having a larger local spare part stock allows us to get most common spares with next-day delivery basically anywhere in the U.S.,” Takala said.

Recruitment is underway to strengthen the service team, and the first unit scheduled for midlife refurbishment will be a well-served S150XDT from Excel High Reach’s rental fleet. Additional refurbishments are already planned.
