Donkey Forklifts Launches Under-CDL Fencing Solution and Patented Mount System

Donkey Forklifts has introduced a truck-mounted fencing delivery solution aimed at improving efficiency for temporary fencing operations in urban and jobsite environments. The company also announced its newly patented auto-locking mount for truck-mounted forklifts.

The Under-CDL Fence Delivery Solution is designed to allow operators to transport and deploy fencing without requiring a commercial driver’s license. Donkey reports the system can carry up to 1,200 linear feet of fence per load and deploy materials in under 30 minutes. The system includes a truck-mounted forklift and an onboard pneumatic hammer intended to reduce manual labor during setup.

The package is built for use in sanitation, construction and event applications where labor shortages and tight urban spaces often impact delivery timelines. According to the company, the equipment measures under 40 ft to allow for easier urban maneuverability and DOT compliance, while its lighter weight supports additional payload capacity.

“Temporary site services demand maximum productivity, especially in limited labor markets,” said Bradley Holder, Donkey Forklifts director of sales. “Our Turnkey Fencing Package delivers a comprehensive ROI where no other modular system exists.”

Alongside the delivery solution, Donkey has released its patented auto-locking mounting system designed for truck-mounted forklifts. The mounting system secures the machine at the mast’s frame carriage, and is engineered to prevent dislodging in rough conditions without requiring additional safety devices. The design is compatible with both new and older Donkey forklift models and can be removed to allow truck use for other applications.

“This patent is a direct result of our continuous improvement culture,” said Gavin Hatcher, vice president of proprietary manufacturing. “It’s a game-changer for fleet operations, providing a single design that supports our legacy fleet and sets a new expectation for truck-mounted forklift safety.”
