EnerSys, a global provider of stored energy solutions, joined forces with Mitsubishi Logisnext Americas (Logisnext) to expand battery and charging system options available through the Promatch parts program. The partnership introduces more choices for fleet, operations and facility managers seeking flexible power solutions for forklift equipment.
Customers can access a range of EnerSys and HAWKER products through the program, including traditional lead-acid batteries and advanced maintenance-free thin plate pure lead (TPPL) batteries. These offerings, available since March 17, 2025, are designed to improve equipment uptime while reducing the need for routine battery maintenance.
“This new partnership benefits Logisnext customers with several battery and charger options from both EnerSys and HAWKER,” said Ben Ruela, OEM general manager for motive power at EnerSys. “Whether an operation is running Mitsubishi Forklift Trucks, Cat Lift Trucks, or forklifts from Jungheinrich or UniCarriers, the addition of EnerSys and HAWKER into the Promatch parts program gives Logisnext customers even more choices in power solutions and support.”
In addition to batteries, the partnership includes energy-efficient high-frequency chargers and battery monitoring devices designed to track power usage and extend battery service life.
“As our customers become increasingly focused on efficiency and productivity, downtime available for maintenance is subject to increasing levels of scrutiny – including battery maintenance,” said Catherine Penn, senior manager of energy solutions strategy and sales at Logisnext. “The ability of EnerSys to minimize or even virtually eliminate battery maintenance obligations will help our customers’ equipment to stay moving and productive, without compromising reliability. As many of our customers migrate towards electric equipment, EnerSys is well-positioned to help them better monitor and manage their battery assets today as well as energy usage as their material handling operations further progress.”
The Promatch program now includes a variety of power solutions from both brands. EnerSys offerings include IRONCLAD Loadhog, Superhog, Deserthog and Express lead-acid batteries, NexSys TPPL batteries, NexSys+, Express and IMPAQ chargers as well as Wi-iQ monitoring devices. HAWKER products include Energy-Plus, Powerline and HAWKER Water Less lead-acid batteries, HAWKER FLEX TPPL batteries and LIFEPLUS MOD3, PTO MOD3 and LIFESPEED MOD3 chargers, along with BATTERY BOSS WC monitoring devices.
All products are supported by EnerSys’ North American service network, which includes over 400 authorized technicians across 75 service locations.
