Manitou Group has entered the stand-on track loader market with the launch of the Manitou 1050 SRT and GEHL SRT105. The two models debuted at Equip Expo in Louisville, Kentucky, on October 21, 2026, with production scheduled to ramp up in Madison, South Dakota, in November. Deliveries to dealers and rental companies are expected to begin at the start of 2027.

Both models have a 23.2-horsepower (17.3-kW) Yanmar turbo diesel engine, a 3,430-pound operating weight, and a rated operating capacity of 1,050 pounds at 35% of tipping load. At 50% of tipping load, rated operating capacity is 1,500 pounds.

The loaders have a maximum travel speed of 5.3 miles per hour and a radial lift arm design with a lift breakout force of 3,802 pounds and a tilt breakout force of 2,711 pounds. Each machine measures 84.5 inches long, 35.8 inches wide, and 56.9 inches tall, excluding the bucket.

The Manitou 1050 SRT and GEHL SRT105 feature selectable auxiliary hydraulic flow, allowing operators to adjust flow from 25% to 100% through the machine’s display menu. Auxiliary hydraulics provide 12.6 gallons per minute at 3,000 pounds per square inch.

A CII attachment plate accommodates most mini-loader attachments, while an available skid steer/compact track loader adapter plate allows the machines to use skid steer and track loader attachments already on the jobsite.

The attachment lineup includes log grapples, root rakes, power rakes, stump grinders, mowers, trenchers, augers, brooms, breakers, snowblowers, buckets, and blades.

Both models also feature IdealTrax, an automatic track tensioning system that applies proper tension from startup to shutdown. Manitou Group says the system extends track life by 15%, removes the need for manual grease-gun tension adjustments in the field, and helps improve machine stability.

A fold-up platform allows operators to guide the machine on foot when loading it onto a trailer. Travel speed is capped at 1.2 mph in this mode, with joystick control of steering and boom lift maintained.

Creep mode provides precise ground speed control while maintaining full auxiliary hydraulic horsepower for high-demand attachments. Operators can select a temporary speed boost after setting the desired ground speed.

The operator station includes ergonomic knee padding, joysticks with grip bars, a 5-inch color display, a 12-volt power port, and two cup holders. The display provides access to machine functions and information, including the hour meter, fuel level, auxiliary hydraulic flow selection, creep mode, and IdealTrax controls.

Front and adjustable rear LED work lights provide illumination around the machine. The rear lights can be rotated outward to illuminate the left and right sides of the jobsite.

An operator presence system triggers automatic idle and automatic stop functions. The machines also have an integrated toolbox, with optional side storage bins, long tool holders, a chainsaw mount, and a protective operator shield planned as customization options. The side storage bins are expected to be available in 2027.

The loaders are designed for tool-free access to major components. Removable side and rear panels provide access for maintenance, while a lockable rear electrical panel groups the fuses, relays, and battery disconnect.

A lever-operated belly pan allows operators to clear debris from the chassis. The oil filter can be accessed from above by removing a panel secured with one bolt.

The loaders will be available in Classic and Platinum packages. Platinum models include Comfort Ride Control on the Manitou 1050 SRT or the HydraGlide comfort ride suspension system on the GEHL SRT105. The systems are designed to absorb shocks and reduce lift-arm bounce. The Platinum package also includes a 14-pin connection for attachment compatibility.

Manitou Group’s Connected Machines telematics system provides access to recent machine activity, operation codes, CAN data, and service alerts. The myManitou and myGEHL mobile apps allow users to monitor location, fuel levels, and operating hours, as well as set geofences. EasyMANAGER offers fleet management functions for tracking service intervals, locations, and diagnostic codes.

Both loaders come with a two-year or 2,000-hour warranty. Manitou Group also offers financing programs and extended coverage options.
