Franna Scales U.S. Operations with Parts Facility and New Business Development Manager

Franna, a global leader in pick and carry crane manufacturing, is expanding its presence in North America through a new service and parts support facility and a strategic hire to lead regional growth. The company will now offer parts and service coverage from the newly opened Terex Louisville Parts facility and has appointed Kevin Aabel as Business Development Manager for North America.

Following the introduction of several U.S.-specific models, including the AT24 US, FR19 US and, most recently, the AT44 US, Franna is reinforcing its commitment to the North American market. These models blend Franna’s established design with adaptations for U.S. operators, offering versatility, strong lifting capacity and jobsite efficiency.

Franna service and parts support is based at the new 134,000 sq ft Terex Louisville facility.

Located in Louisville, Kentucky, the 134,000-square-foot Terex facility features an automated parts picking system and a newly added second shift to increase availability and reduce response time. The warehouse also houses a fully trained team of technicians experienced with Franna’s product line, offering service support across North America.

To further support its expansion, Franna has named Kevin Aabel as business development manager for North America. Aabel brings a background in crane sales through roles at Manitowoc, Oshkosh and Altec, Inc., and has extensive experience managing dealer networks and direct sales across the U.S. and Canada.

I hope to leverage my industry network and specialist expertise, supported by the capabilities of the Terex Louisville facility, to make an immediate and meaningful impact in driving the success of Franna in this key market.”
