Genie Introduces Micro Scissor Lift, Boom Lift Access Deck

Genie unveiled the compact GS-1330m scissor lift along with other new products and technologies at the 2019 ARA Show in Anaheim, California.

The GS-1330m scissor lift offers a maximum platform height of 12.8 ft., a maximum working height of 18.8 ft., a two-person, 500-lb. capacity, and weighs only 1,950 lbs.

The company also added the Lift Tools Access Deck for Z articulating booms, S telescopic booms, and GS-1930 scissor lifts, providing operators with a secondary surface to work from.

The deck elevates operators 22 in. above the platform floor. This accessory is ANSI-compliant and is currently available in the United States.

At the show, Genie highlighted its new Lift Connect Telematics, which focuses on providing views of the entire fleet, maintenance alerts, geo-zones, and near real-time reporting on machine status, faults, and utilization. Lift Connect hardware is now available as a standard feature with a three-year subscription on all new machine purchases for Genie scissors, booms, and telehandlers.

Among other features and equipment at its booth, Genie also displayed a lithium ion battery option for its GS slab scissors.
