Guardian Integrates Twiceme Technology into Self-Retracting Lifelines

Guardian and Twiceme Technology have announced an expansion of their partnership that brings Twiceme’s digital safety and asset management technology into Guardian’s self-retracting lifelines (SRLs). The companies say the new SRLs are expected to reach the market in spring 2026.

SRLs serve as the connecting device within a personal fall arrest system, allowing workers to move while engaging locking and braking mechanisms during a fall. The Twiceme integration expands Guardian’s connected safety approach beyond harnesses to include SRLs used in both overhead and leading-edge applications.

“Integrating Twiceme into our SRLs is a natural next step in our mission to elevate safety across every stage of work at height, as SRLs are a critical line of defense in a fall protection – whether that’s arresting a fall or keeping workers restrained from the edge,” said Sean Wirth, Sr. product manager, Guardian. “Our ongoing partnership with Twiceme across harnesses and other fall-protection systems has already proven the value of connected safety and digital asset management, and now we’re proud to innovate and deliver the first-ever Twiceme-enabled SRLs.”

The Twiceme-equipped SRLs range from 16 to 65 feet and can be managed through the Twiceme safety management portal, which provides equipment inspection data, certification tracking and Medical ID access to support rescue operations following a fall incident.

Models receiving the integration include Guardian’s Halo, Diablo, Velocity and CR3 SRL families, including rescue and retrieval and leading-edge configurations.

“Guardian has been instrumental in bringing Twiceme’s technology to the front lines of fall safety,” said Christian Connolly, CEO, Twiceme Technology. “By integrating into their self-retracting lifelines, we’re helping companies and individuals ensure their equipment is in functioning as it should and closing a critical information gap during fall incidents. This builds on our successful collaboration and marks another step toward a future where life-saving information is always available, exactly when it’s needed.”

The new SRLs will be displayed at World of Concrete 2026, with demonstrations available at both the Twiceme and Guardian booths.
