Handy Rents, a family-owned equipment rental company based in Eastlake, Ohio, has opened a new location in Streetsboro, bringing its total number of branches to seven across Northeast Ohio. The expansion aims to improve service coverage for contractors and industrial clients in Portage and Summit Counties.
“With excellent visibility from the highway and immediate access to major routes, our Streetsboro location is set to become a strategic hub for Handy Rents," said Patrick Miller, president. "The nearly 13,000-square-foot facility situated on 2.5 acres gives us the space and flexibility to better serve both homeowners and contractors in the Streetsboro, Aurora, Hudson, Kent and Twinsburg markets. This expansion enhances our ability to reach more customers quickly while strengthening our brand presence across Northeast Ohio."
The renovated facility — once an equipment dealership — now includes an expanded fleet of rental units from industry leaders such as Genie, Haulotte, John Deere and Kubota.

On July 16, 2025, the company hosted a grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony with support from Congressman David P. Joyce’s office, Mayor Glenn M. Broska, local officials and community members. The event featured demos, facility tours, raffles and giveaways.
