The International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) has announced it has reached 2,000 members globally, marking a significant expansion of its network across the powered access sector.
The organization reported that its membership now includes companies and professionals in 83 countries, bringing together stakeholders from manufacturing, rental, contracting and training. The growth reflects broader industry engagement with safety practices, training programs and operational standards related to working at height.
Peter Douglas, CEO and managing director of IPAF, said, “Reaching 2,000 members is a proud moment for IPAF. Over recent years, we have expanded our training programmes, digital services and safety campaigns, supporting members in reducing workplace incidents and improving operational efficiency. As part of our commitment to a truly global community, we are also increasing the availability of our materials in more languages, ensuring we can reach and support members wherever they are in the world.
“I’d like to thank each and every member for being a part of the IPAF family and contributing to safer work at height.”
As part of its ongoing efforts, IPAF is focusing on expanding digital tools, including wider adoption of the Powered Access Licence (PAL) Card through its ePAL app. The organization is also continuing its Share Your Story campaign, which promotes reporting of incidents and near misses as a way to improve safety awareness and industry practices.
IPAF stated it will continue to build on its global reach while supporting members with training resources, safety initiatives and technology-driven solutions.
