The International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) has announced the first group of speakers for its Working at Height Conference & Awards 2026, scheduled for October 28 to 29 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Orlando at SeaWorld in Florida.

The event will bring together industry professionals and decision-makers across the powered access sector, with presentations focused on market trends, equipment selection and safety standards.

Nicole McGregor, managing principal at Ducker Carlisle, is set to present on the North American mobile elevating work platform (MEWP) rental market, covering recent developments, market size and growth drivers.

Paola Palazzani, president of Palazzani, and Ben Taft, vice president of sales, North America at Palazzani, will discuss machine selection, with a focus on atrium and spider lifts. Their session will examine how evolving jobsite conditions, including confined spaces and sensitive surfaces, are influencing equipment choices and applications such as indoor maintenance and arboriculture.

Tony Groat, IPAF’s North America regional manager, will provide an update on MEWP-related standards, including developments within ANSI/SAIA A92, CSA B354 and ISO, as well as topics affecting equipment design, safe use and training.

Additional speakers include Federico Rio, senior vice president of product and pricing at Trackunit, and IPAF representatives Peter Douglas, CEO and managing director, and Giles Councell, director of operations. Their session will address IPAF’s safety initiatives and updates from the North American Regional Council.

“Following the success of the last two editions of our Working at Height Conference & Awards, which attracted an exceptionally high calibre audience of manager- and director-level professionals, the 2026 event is expected to once again deliver premium networking opportunities alongside expert industry insight," Douglas said. "Concluding with the fantastic Working at Height 2026 Awards Dinner and Ceremony, it really is the leading North American event for the access industry.”

The event will also include the Working at Height Awards, recognizing achievements in safety, technology and industry performance across the powered access sector.
