JLG Industries, Inc., an Oshkosh Corporation company and global manufacturer of mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs) and telehandlers, introduced the ES1930M electric scissor lift. The new model marks JLG’s entry into the micro-sized scissor lift segment, offering compact dimensions, reduced weight and maneuverability tailored for confined indoor job sites.
“As today’s job sites evolve, we’re seeing a growing need for access solutions that have a small footprint and slim profile, are reduced weight and are agile, especially in sectors like data centers, schools, airports and facilities maintenance,” said Bob Begley, director of product management – scissor lifts at JLG. “Tailored for indoor applications requiring minimal intrusion and maximum control, the ES1930M was developed in response to those trends.”
Key features of the ES1930M include:
- Worksite Compatibility: Leak containment and variable tilt technology support use on sensitive floors and slight slopes. Its compact size allows multiple units to operate in confined spaces like museums and casinos.
- Maneuverability: The machine passes through standard doorways and navigates tight corridors with a zero-degree inside turning radius.
- Stability and Comfort: A redesigned arm stack and offset middle pin enhance platform stability and reduce sway.
- Operator Efficiency: The lift supports a 500-lb platform capacity and offers optional features such as a 900W inverter, mid-rail deck, white noise alarm and anti-vandalism and hostile environment packages.
- Maintenance and Connectivity: A single lift cylinder and updated wiring harness reduce leak points and simplify service. Integrated ClearSky Smart Fleet IoT connectivity allows for remote diagnostics. The model also shares 80% parts commonality with other JLG scissors.
Key Specifications:
- Platform Height: 18 ft 6 in (indoor) / 15 ft (outdoor)
- Platform Capacity: 500 lb (up to two occupants indoor)
- Stowed Height: 78.1 in
- Machine Dimensions: 57.8 in L x 30 in W
- Weight: Under 3,000 lb
- Inside Turning Radius: 0
“With the ES1930M, JLG is set to enter and lead in the expanding ‘micro’ scissor lift category, delivering a machine purpose-built for real-world work-at-height challenges,” said Begley.
