JLG Industries, Inc. has introduced a preview of its new 600AJ+ articulating boom lift, showcasing updates in performance, serviceability and fleet connectivity within the 60-foot class. The machine was presented as part of the company’s next-generation equipment lineup at CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2026.

The 600AJ+ features a redesigned boom structure and updated engineering intended to improve stability and operation across its working envelope. The model offers a maximum platform height of 60 feet, horizontal outreach of 38 feet and an up-and-over height of 27 feet, 3 inches, supporting access to challenging work areas.

According to JLG, the boom lift incorporates a single-function tower boom design without a rear arm stack, which is intended to reduce sway and improve speed to height. The machine also includes multiple boom control modes designed to assist with positioning and efficiency, including Go-Home, Go-To-Height, Planar Mode for vertical platform tracking and QuikStik.

The 600AJ+ integrates ClearSky Smart Fleet technology, enabling two-way data transmission between the machine and fleet management systems. This functionality allows for equipment monitoring, maintenance planning and operational insights.

Additional updates focus on serviceability and maintenance access. The machine includes a centralized fuse box, a protected internal power track designed to reduce exposure to debris and UV conditions and improved engine access with commonly serviced components positioned for easier reach. Other features include standardized bi-directional tires and enhancements to swivel clearance and drive motor access.

JLG indicated that the 600AJ+ reflects ongoing development in boom lift design, with a focus on improving productivity and supporting equipment rental companies and contractors. Specifications remain preliminary and are subject to change prior to final production.
