LGMG North America has introduced the S3232E electric slab scissor lift to the Canadian market, expanding its mobile elevating work platform (MEWP) lineup.
The model is designed for indoor applications where equipment must pass through standard doorways or maneuver through narrow aisles while providing greater reach than other 32-inch-wide scissor lifts in its class.
The S3232E has a maximum indoor platform height of 32 feet, 10 inches (10 meters) and a machine width of 33 inches (0.83 meters). The combination allows operators to reach elevated work areas in buildings with tall ceilings while navigating doorways, aisles, and other confined indoor spaces.
LGMG said the model is suited for applications including data center construction, commercial buildings, warehouses, industrial facilities, and facility maintenance.
The scissor lift can be driven at full height, allowing operators to reposition the machine without lowering and raising the platform. It has a platform capacity of 551 pounds (250 kilograms) for up to two occupants and includes a 2-foot, 11-inch (0.9-meter) extension deck for tools and materials.
“The S3232E is gaining popularity because it combines two capabilities customers increasingly need – a compact design that can navigate tight indoor environments and the working height required for modern construction and maintenance projects,” said Mark Elton, director of product management at LGMG North America. “That versatility makes it an excellent fit for a wide range of applications, including the growing demand for data center construction and maintenance.”
The S3232E uses permanent magnet synchronous motors for its drive and lift functions. The sealed motors are designed to be maintenance-free throughout their service life, according to LGMG.
Standard equipment includes leak containment and a keyed brake release switch that allows the machine to be moved, winched, or towed when necessary.
The scissor lift is also telematics-ready, allowing customers to install a preferred telematics system or use LGMG's optional system.
LGMG North America said the model is supported through its ProCare program and service resources for Canadian rental fleet owners.
