LGMG North America has partnered with Eldora Speedway for the 2026 racing season, providing equipment to support media and event operations at the dirt racing venue.
The partnership includes sponsorship of the 2026 #LetsRaceTwo event, held May 15 to 16, as well as the deployment of two SR5390D rough terrain scissor lifts for use throughout the race season. According to the company, the lifts are being used by television crews and photographers to capture overhead footage and imagery during races.
Located in Rossburg, Ohio, Eldora Speedway hosts racing events across multiple weekends from April through October and draws thousands of fans annually. The #LetsRaceTwo event is one of the venue’s largest sprint-car racing programs, featuring both winged and non-winged competition over two nights.
“Our events rely on strong collaboration behind the scenes, and we are pleased to have LGMG supporting this year’s #LetsRaceTwo events,” said Levi Jones, general manager of Eldora Speedway. “Having the right equipment in place is essential, and LGMG’s support helps ensure our media teams can safely capture the action at the races.”
The partnership also reflects a personal connection for Russell Durand, regional sales manager at LGMG North America, who has attended races at Eldora Speedway for more than three decades.
“My dad took me to Eldora Speedway for the first time in the early 1990s, and by the late 2000s, I was bringing both of my sons — three generations of my family,” Durand said. “That’s not unusual. You see grandparents with their grandchildren all the time. Eldora Speedway represents heritage, performance and community, and we at LGMG NA are excited to be part of it.”
Founded in 1954, Eldora Speedway is located in the village of Rossburg, Ohio, which has fewer than 200 residents but attracts race weekend crowds exceeding 20,000 spectators. The venue’s annual calendar includes the World 100, a late model dirt race considered one of the most prominent events in U.S. dirt track racing.
According to LGMG, the SR5390D rough terrain scissor lifts supporting the track have a maximum platform height of 52 feet, 2 inches and a 1,500-pound lifting capacity, allowing space for up to four people. The machines are designed for uneven terrain and are being used for camera, filming and photography operations, as well as other support tasks around the venue.
“The machines are supporting camera, filming and photography crews during race days, and are also being used around the track for a variety of applications. We’re proud to help the crews working behind the scenes and contribute to the overall success of the event,” Durand said.
