Magni Adds Four Regional Sales Managers

Magni America has added four regional sales managers in the U.S. over the past several months.

They have been in order to support Magni’s network of dealers, which has grown throughout 2020 and is expected to expand even more in 2021.

Robert Cloud joins Magni America in the South-Central Region to cover Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and New Mexico. His more than 20 years of experience in equipment rental and sales includes previously having worked with NationsRent (now Sunbelt), United Rentals, Hertz Equipment Rental, and Xylem Dewatering.

“The South-Central Region is a huge focus for Magni going into 2021. It’s a fast-growing market, and a big opportunity for both our rotating and heavy lift telehandler lines,” said Joe Leinwol, Magni’s vice president of sales.

Jim Heckendorf joined Magni America in July as its Midwest regional manager. He has more than 25 years of experience selling and renting heavy material handling equipment for  construction, shipping port, intermodal rail, and industrial applications. Heckendorf’s territory includes Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, Iowa, and Minnesota.

Nick Newbury joined Magni America in August. He covers the Southeast Region, including Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee, Alabama, and Mississippi. Newbury comes to Magni from Sunbelt Rentals, where he was introduced to Magni rotating telescopic handlers. Newbury said, “My first impression of Magni was love at first sight! When I first got into the machine I was absolutely blown away.”

Anthony Obi joins Magni America as the northwest regional sales manager. He serves Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming. Obi comes to Magni after spending five years at United Rentals in various sales roles. Obi says he is looking forward to working with existing Magni dealer Pape Material Handling and to setting up dealers in Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming.

Talking about the benefits of becoming a Magni dealer, Joe Leinwol, vice president of sales for Magni America, said, “Magni rotating telehandlers are a very fast growing, non-commodity, specialized product segment. Compared to aerial work platforms and traditional telehandlers, Magni dealers get book rate far more often. Magni’s growth in the U.S. market has been outstanding.”

Magni America says that contractors often use Magni rotating telehandlers to replace cranes, aerial work platforms, and standard telehandlers and gain up to 35% in efficiency.
