Manitou Unveils New Telehandlers, MEWPs to North American Dealers

Manitou, West Bend, Wisconsin, gave nearly 300 North American dealers the first look at several new machines, including telehandlers and MEWPs, at the company's annual dealer meeting in Milwaukee.

"This is an exciting time at Manitou North America as we pursue new market opportunities and focus on strengthening our products, services, and customer support," said Mark Hanson, CEO of Manitou North America. "Our annual dealer meeting provides a really great opportunity to come together with our customers, listen and learn from each other, and plan for the future."

At the event, dealers from across the United States and Canada saw firsthand the latest products from Manitou, Gehl, and Mustang by Manitou. They also had the opportunity to test drive nearly 60 machines.

Manitou introduced the MLT 630 NewAg telehandler, a versatile compact model with a lift capacity of 6,600 lbs. and speeds up to 23 mph. The boom extends beyond the reach of a typical tractor, with a maximum lift height of 19 ft. 8 in. and forward reach of 10 ft. 11 in.

Dealers also got to see the brand-new RS4-14, the smallest telehandler from Gehl. This compact model is just under 60 in. wide, 75 in. tall, and can lift up to 4,400 lbs. The Gehl RS4-14 is lightweight and easy to transport, so it is an ideal solution for do-it-yourself homeowners, construction applications, and the rental market.

These models, along with a number of others, will soon be available at your local Manitou or Gehl dealership.
