Maxam Unveils Long-Life, Zero-Maintenance Solid Tire for Telehandlers

Maxam, Danvers, Connecticut, has unveiled the MS709, a new long-lasting solid tire for telehandlers.

Maxam has engineered the MS709 solid telehandler tire as a rugged, long-lasting solution for demanding construction applications.

In development and performance validation, the premium tire’s solid construction displayed optimum efficiency and traction, compared to other solid telehandler tires in the market, says Maxam.

The company also says that the MS709’s two-stage, 100%-rubber construction is durable and delivers the industry’s best ride.

The unique, reinforced centerline eliminates lug flexing and tearing common with many solid telehandler tires. To elevate the product performance, Maxam incorporated a specialized tread compound that runs cooler, resisting wear and chunking.

Maxam engineers added an extra deep, aggressive, non-directional traction pattern to maximize traction and eliminate tire slippage.

With a zero-maintenance airless construction, the MS709 removes the potential of flat tires from punctures or sidewall damage. It also eliminates the need to check air pressure.

Maxam’s signature Double-D apertures provide extra cushioning in harsh working environments.

Delivering a premium solid telehandler to the industry, the Maxam MS709 provides exceptional performance, no maintenance and the industry’s leading tread life, according to the company.

The MS709 solid telehandler will be offered in two common telehandler sizes, as noted below. It will also be available both as a tire and as a mounted tire/wheel assembly for most telehandlers.

Maxam is manufacturing the MS709 at its new state-of -the-art specialty solid tire factory in Vietnam.
