Nokian Tyres has expanded its Ground King Loader product family with a 17.5R25 tire for wheel loaders.
The tire is designed for varying terrain and applications ranging from soft mud to hard surfaces. Nokian Tyres lists loading areas and construction sites among its applications, including work involving gravel, compost, and soil.
The Ground King Loader has a radial structure and reinforced shoulder area. The company said the design provides stability and supports driving with heavy loads and at higher speeds during road transits.
The tire uses Nokian Tyres' Hybrilug technology, which combines the stability and durability of a traditional block pattern with the grip of a lug pattern on soft and loose surfaces.
“The Hybrilug blocks enable stable, vibration-free handling, while the lugs improve grip in mud and on other soft terrains,” says Mikko Pukkila, product manager at Nokian Tyres. “Together, these features make Ground King Loader a reliable tire for variable conditions, even in tight spaces that demand precise and predictable control.”
Nokian Tyres said the Ground King Loader is designed to provide stability, comfort, and low noise during worksite operation and road travel.
The tire family is available in 20.5R25 and 17.5R25 sizes. The new 17.5R25 size is available for order immediately.
