OZ Lifting Expands with New Innovation Drive Facility

OZ Lifting Products LLC will celebrate the grand opening of its new 40,000-square-foot facility in Winona, Minnesota, on Oct. 7. The event will include guided tours, product demonstrations and a ribbon-cutting led by the Winona Area Chamber of Commerce.

OZ Lifting, a manufacturer of davit cranes and lifting equipment, has grown from two employees in 2004 to 30 full-time staff today. The new facility is designed to improve efficiency and provide space for continued growth.

“Our move to the new Innovation Drive facility has been a real step forward — and to formally open it among such esteemed company is a landmark moment in our history,” said Steve Napieralski, president of OZ Lifting.

Tours will showcase the full lifecycle of the company’s products, from engineering and prototyping to load testing and shipping. Demonstrations will highlight equipment such as the 250-pound capacity parapet davit crane base, the telescoping Tele-Pro davit crane and the lightweight Alumi-Lite davit.

A former water-testing pit at the site has been repurposed into a live-lift testing area to enhance in-house product validation and safety.

In addition to showcasing equipment, the event will feature Code Blue K9, a program supported by OZ Lifting that funds the training of police dogs.
