Peterbilt Motors Company has added its battery-electric vehicle lineup to an existing cooperative purchasing agreement with Sourcewell and its Canadian partner, Canoe Procurement Group.
The agreement gives eligible government, education, nonprofit, and tribal organizations in the U.S. and Canada access to Peterbilt’s battery-electric trucks through the Sourcewell contract. The agreement has been extended through July 2028.
Sourcewell represents more than 50,000 member organizations. Under the agreement, members can purchase Peterbilt Class 5 through Class 8 vehicles through competitively solicited contracts with pre-negotiated pricing and terms. Available configurations include medium-duty, vocational, on-highway, and electric vehicles.
The addition of electric vehicles expands the range of Peterbilt trucks available through the cooperative purchasing program and gives eligible organizations another option when procuring commercial vehicles.

The Sourcewell agreement is designed to simplify the bidding process while supporting procurement compliance. Membership is free for eligible entities, with no fees or purchase obligations. Authorized Peterbilt dealers across North America sell directly under the contract and provide local service and support.
Peterbilt offers diesel, natural gas and electric vehicles across its Class 5 through Class 8 lineup. The company operates through more than 430 dealer locations in North America.
