Skyjack Expands Electric Scissor Line With SJ3232 E Model

Skyjack has added a new compact electric scissor lift to its slab scissor range with the introduction of the SJ3232 E. The model was announced January 28, 2026, by Skyjack, part of Linamar Corporation.

The SJ3232 E is designed for both indoor and outdoor use and features a narrow profile with an overall machine length of 91.5 inches (2.32 meters). The unit can be driven at full height and does not require stabilizers, supporting productivity in confined work areas.

With a working height of 37 feet, seven inches (11.46 meters) and a 550-pound (249-kilogram) platform capacity, the SJ3232 E targets a range of construction, industrial and maintenance applications.

The electric slab scissor lift is powered by a rear-wheel brushless electric drive system that includes fully proportional lift and drive controls and an adaptive variable speed feature. Skyjack reports the system delivers smooth transitions on grades and offers 25% gradeability.

“The narrow width and compact length of the SJ3232 E provides superior maneuverability and functionality,” said Charlie Patterson, Skyjack president. “Skyjack’s slab scissors are known for reliability, durability and serviceability. We are thrilled to see our simply electric, zero-emission E-Drive scissor line grow and continue to serve the rental industry.”

The platform includes an all-steel anti-slip surface, multiple fall protection attachment points and a three-foot roll-out extension deck to increase working reach. The fold-down modular rail system allows for easier transport and reduced stowed height.

The SJ3232 E also incorporates onboard digital diagnostics that provide real-time operating data, including load-sensing information. According to Skyjack, service access points are designed for simplified maintenance, with common parts shared across the slab scissor range.

“The new SJ3232 E has easy-to-understand control systems, with an on-board digital diagnostics display that allows operators to see real-time, simple language readouts and load-sensing information. No plug-in calibration is necessary for day-to-day troubleshooting, all major service points are easily accessible and common parts across our slab scissor range make for straightforward maintenance and repairs,” said Corey Connolly, Skyjack’s head of product management. “Additionally, Skyjack’s ECO mark supports customers by outlining the environmental performance and long-term sustainability of our machines.”

The SJ3232 E is currently available in North American and European markets and will be showcased at CONEXPO 2026 in Las Vegas.
