Skyjack Supports Cooper Equipment Rentals’ Golden Equipment Campaign

Skyjack has announced its participation in Cooper Equipment Rentals’ fifth annual Golden Equipment campaign, which raises funds for local community initiatives with a focus on children’s and family mental health.

As part of the initiative, Skyjack arranged the delivery of nine SJ519 TH telehandlers finished in custom gold coloring. The units have been distributed to Cooper Equipment Rentals branches and are available for rent on jobsites across Canada. According to Cooper, the Golden Equipment campaign has raised more than $575,000 for local charities since the company’s 50th anniversary in January 2022.

For the 2026 campaign, Cooper has set a fundraising goal of $150,000. The partnership with Skyjack marks a new collaboration between the two companies.

“The SJ519 TH telehandler is one of the most requested pieces of equipment in our rental fleet and its high visibility makes it the perfect ambassador for our campaign, helping us boost awareness and support our fundraising goal of $150,000 in 2026,” said Rod Lentino, director of rental equipment, Cooper Equipment Rentals. “Skyjack embraced the opportunity to partner with us and went above and beyond to customize the machines and ship directly from their manufacturing facility in Mexico to our Canadian branches.”

The SJ519 TH is part of Skyjack’s telehandler lineup and is widely used in rental applications. The model features a large cab, FLEXCAB conversion system, FLEXDRIVE performance enhancements and serviceability features designed to support varied jobsite requirements.

“Choosing the perfect colour match for the golden telehandlers sparked real excitement at Skyjack, especially among our production team, who were eager and proud to support this project,” said Malcolm Early, vice president of marketing, Skyjack. “We wish Cooper success with this year-long fundraising campaign and look forward to following along on social media.”

In addition to the equipment rollout, Cooper Equipment Rentals has launched a national #SpotCooperGold challenge, encouraging the public to share images of the gold-colored SJ519 TH telehandlers, along with other gold-themed rental equipment, for a chance to win prizes. The campaign is being promoted across Cooper’s social media platforms.
