Skyjack has launched its new models of battery-powered electric boom lifts: the SJ45 AJE+ and SJ60AJE+, with working heights of 16 and 20 meters respectively, and capacities of up to 545 kg in the basket. These new articulated all-terrain boom lifts are suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, offering unmatched performance and low ownership and operating costs.
These new models are capable of providing more than a typical workday, and an additional 30-minute reserve allows them to operate in a folded position to reach a charging station.
The all-electric axle drive system provides excellent traction, while the high-performance alternating current traction and pump motors deliver high torque and constant multifunctional capacity. Additionally, an oscillating steering axle works together with the drive system to keep all four tires in contact with the ground, even on rough terrain. Improved traction ensures smoother driving, with a gradient capability of up to 45%.
These new models also feature "EASYDRIVE," a unique feature to Skyjack that facilitates the use of boom lifts, especially for rental purposes. The translation function of the lifts is based on the orientation of the turret counterweight on the chassis: so, if the joystick is pushed forward, the counterweight moves forward, allowing the unit to move in the direction of the joystick's movement.
