Tech Safety Lines Launches New Confined Space Rescue Training Program

Tech Safety Lines (TSL) has announced the launch of its new Confined Space Rescue Training Program, a comprehensive solution designed to help organizations strengthen workplace safety, regulatory compliance and rescue readiness.

The program combines consulting, hands-on training and ongoing support to help companies build, maintain and continuously improve confined space safety programs.

“Our goal is to move beyond checkbox compliance and build rescue proficiency that lives on in daily operations,” said Diane Waghorne, founder and CEO of Tech Safety Lines. “By combining expert consulting with immersive training and long-term follow-up, we help organizations develop rescue programs that truly work when lives are on the line.”

The program begins with an in-depth evaluation of each client’s confined space hazards, rescue capabilities and existing safety procedures. Based on that assessment, Tech Safety Lines develops a customized plan and delivers training tailored to site-specific needs.

Participants engage in scenario-based instruction covering atmospheric monitoring, entry permitting, ventilation, retrieval systems, patient packaging and full rescue simulations. This hands-on approach allows teams to practice real-world procedures using their own equipment and facilities.

To support continuous improvement, TSL offers follow-up services such as refresher courses, periodic reviews and regulatory updates. The company also provides after-action debriefs and integrates lessons learned into clients’ standard operating procedures.

The curriculum aligns with OSHA confined space standards and emphasizes hazard identification, communication and emergency response coordination. Students gain experience with self-contained breathing apparatus, extraction kits and rescue equipment such as Skedco and Spec Pak systems.

Training sessions are adapted to match each client’s layout, equipment and operational risk profile, reinforcing both compliance and preparedness.

Tech Safety Lines is now offering the Confined Space Rescue Training Program nationwide. Organizations can schedule an initial assessment or learn more about the program through the company’s website at techsafetylines.com.

Headquartered in Carrollton, Texas, Tech Safety Lines has provided industrial safety training, consulting and equipment for more than 20 years. The company operates multiple training facilities in the Dallas–North Texas area and serves clients worldwide, with more than 50,000 rescue kits currently in use across 38 countries.
