Terex Utilities released several new Tech Tips in 2025, expanding its technical resource library for bucket truck and digger derrick operators and service technicians.
The newly released Tech Tips address common service and operational questions and include step-by-step instructions and graphics intended to support equipment maintenance and repair tasks. A key focus during 2025 was load chart education, with multiple Tech Tips developed to explain how to read aerial device and digger derrick load charts.
New load chart–focused Tech Tips include numbers seven, 19, 20, 22 and 198 for aerial devices; 224 for the SCM55 aerial device; and 200, 221 and 225 for General and Commander digger derricks.
“We frequently get asked questions regarding load charts during our training sessions. To address this, we developed these additional Tech Tips to provide clear references and enhance user understanding of load chart usage,” said Jason Julius, technical support specialist.
Additional Tech Tips released during the year covered topics such as Terex Utilities training and communication offerings, hose part number references and procedures for removing broken fasteners.
In 2025, Terex Utilities also expanded access to its technical resources by translating six Tech Tips into Spanish for the first time. Spanish versions of Tech Tips one through six are now available, supporting bilingual crews and increasing accessibility for Spanish-speaking users.
Looking ahead to 2026, Terex plans to continue expanding Spanish-language Tech Tips, to eventually make its full library of more than 230 Tech Tips available to Spanish-speaking users worldwide.
“Terex Utilities remains committed to providing comprehensive support and continuously updating its resources to meet the evolving needs of the industry,” Julius said.
Tech Tips are available as downloadable PDFs, and select topics also include video demonstrations. Video-based Tech Tips are hosted on the Tech Tips YouTube channel. The complete Tech Tips library, including recent additions and Spanish translations, is available through Terex Utilities.
