USM ReRents Adds MEC Titan 60 to Fleet

USM ReRents, Elmhurst, Illinois, has added an MEC Titan Boom 60-S specialty lift to its extensive fleet of aerial equipment.

The unique Titan Boom 60-S delivers 3,000-lb. capacity, a 22’ x 90” platform like an ultra-deck scissor lift, and the reach and platform rotation of a boom.

“We are impressed with USM ReRent’s customer focus and business model, especially their success with specialty machines, so we see a perfect fit for the Titan 60’s versatility in general construction, steel erection, port and airline applications, bridge work, oil and gas installation, and even the entertainment industry,” said Dave Hubbell, MEC Aerial Work Platforms’ region vice president.

The Titan 60 is a flagship of MEC’s overall mission to offer A Better Solution. Its three steering modes, 180o platform rotation, up to 10o frame levelling to each side, stabilizer support with one-touch auto-leveling, and 40% gradeability get it in close even on tough job sites.

“When Dave contacted me and explained the benefits of MEC’s Titan 60, it became apparent that the product would be a great fit in the USM ReRent portfolio,” said Tom Saxelby, vice president of sales, USM ReRents. “The MEC team is experienced in our industry and they continue to engineer innovative products that address end user needs.”

Added Saxelby, “The relationship between USM ReRents and MEC Aerial Work Platforms, and the addition of the Titan 60, stands to bring value for both companies’ customers across the United States and Canada. It is an exciting time for the aerial lift industry.”
