Donkey Forklifts has expanded its dealer network with the addition of Welch Equipment Company as an authorized dealer.

The partnership will provide customers in Colorado, Utah, New Mexico and surrounding areas with access to Donkey’s truck-mounted forklift lineup. Welch Equipment will support sales and service for the equipment as part of its broader material handling offerings.

Welch Equipment, founded in 1985, provides equipment sales, rentals, service, parts, warehouse solutions and industrial power systems throughout the Rocky Mountain region. The company works with customers across multiple industries to support equipment productivity and operational needs.

"Welch Equipment's reputation for uptime and customer support speaks for itself," said Bradley Holder, VP of sales for Donkey Forklifts. "Their commitment to helping customers improve productivity and keep equipment working every day makes them an excellent fit for the Donkey brand."

The dealership relationship returns Donkey Forklifts to the area where the company began. Donkey forklifts are manufactured in Bay Springs, Mississippi, but the brand originated in Colorado in 1985. The company said the partnership strengthens its presence in the region as it celebrates 40 years of American-made innovation.

"We're thrilled to partner with Donkey and officially bring their innovative equipment to customers throughout our territory,” said Jason Struletz, director of sales at Welch Equipment. “Together, we’re committed to delivering quality equipment, exceptional service and solutions that help businesses operate at their best."

Through the agreement, Welch Equipment will offer Donkey’s truck-mounted forklift solutions, including the hydrostatic JACK forklift and the Single Axle Solution.

The forklift lineup is designed for industries such as building supply, roofing, turf and fencing. According to Donkey Forklifts, the machines are built around lightweight designs, reach capabilities and under-CDL delivery advantages intended to support payload management and maneuverability.

The addition of Welch Equipment continues Donkey Forklifts’ efforts to expand its dealer network with partners focused on equipment support, service and customer solutions.
