Walter Payton Power Equipment (WPPE) has become an authorized dealer for Hiab equipment, expanding its lifting and material handling portfolio across Illinois, Indiana, Michigan and Kentucky.
The agreement is part of Hiab’s dealer network expansion and adds new equipment options for operators and contractors in the region. Available models include the Hiab Hi-Pro 425 Drywall Crane and the Hiab 352E.8 loader crane.
The Hi-Pro 425 is designed for handling drywall materials, while the 352E.8 features a remote-controlled system and a 74-foot, five-inch outreach. Both models are designed to support lifting operations in construction and related applications.
Hiab equipment in the lineup includes the Semi Automatic Folding (SAF) system, which allows operators to fold and unfold the crane using a single control lever, and an Automatic Greasing System designed to maintain lubrication of key components.
“We’re excited to add Hiab to our portfolio of industry-leading brands,” said Mike Noonan of WPPE sales. “This partnership allows us to provide our customers with even more advanced lifting solutions, supported by the service and expertise they’ve come to expect from Walter Payton Power Equipment.”
WPPE will distribute Hiab equipment across its Midwest footprint as part of the expanded offering.
