YOKE Industrial Corp. has expanded global availability of its model 8-251 super point, a lifting point engineered for automatic load alignment in lifting and rigging applications. The unit is offered in capacities from 0.3 tonnes (.33 U.S. tons) to 40 tonnes (44.1 U.S. tons).
The lifting point incorporates a ball-bearing mechanism that allows full 360-degree rotation and 230-degree tilt, enabling the hardware to align with shifting loads and changing lift angles.
The model 8-251 super point includes:
The lifting point is designed for use in environments where side loading and angle changes occur. By automatically aligning with the load, the component helps reduce stress on bolts and associated lifting equipment.
Steven Hong, president at YOKE, said:
“While the ball-bearing feature is ingenious from an engineering standpoint, its value is in enhanced safety. It keeps the lift smooth and reduces wear, which are clear benefits in a multitude of applications at the point of use. In an ideal world, all lifts would be perfectly vertical but in reality this is often not the case — that’s why the Model 8-251 Super Point is worth having in every rigging store.”
Each model 8-251 super point is equipped with a SupraNano digital chip and digital product passport (DPP), supporting traceability and inspection tracking in line with the European Union’s Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR).
The product:
Users are advised not to turn continuously in a 90-degree direction at full load.
The Super Point is part of YOKE’s broader lifting hardware portfolio, which includes lifting chain fittings, swivel hoist hooks, shackles and other rigging components used in industrial and engineered lifting environments.
