Moving Personnel and Materials from the Ground to Mezzanine Quickly and Efficiently

Rider mezzanine lifts, also known as scissors lifts, have been moving personnel and materials from the ground to higher elevations for more than 60 years. They offer a distinct advantage over vertical reciprocating conveyors (VRC) because people ride the lifts along with the materials they are moving, which enhances the utility of the mezzanines. The cost is competitive with VRCs, and installation can offer savings because scissors lifts come fully assembled from the factory instead of in a kit like elevators and some VRCs, so they avoid costly field assembly by elevator installers. Only the gates and enclosures need to be assembled on site.
