The ASME B30 Committee on Cranes and Related Equipment has established a B30 Interest Review Committee. The new committee’s purpose is to allow those who are unable to attend meetings, but who would like to be involved with the development process, to participate.
At its most recent meeting, Jin Hui, associate professor of engineering mechanics at Southeast University, China; Mark Osborne, president of E-Crane International; and William Rumburg, president of Crane Consultants, Inc., were appointed to the newly established group.
The B30 Standards Committee on Cranes and Related Equipment is scheduled to meet again Sept 18- 23, in Minneapolis, Minn.
