Bardonaro Joins Terex Cranes

Terex Corp., Westport, Conn., today announced that Frank Bardonaro has joined the company as vice president and managing director for Terex Cranes in the Americas. For the past nine years, Bardonaro has been president and CEO of the Amquip Crane Rental Co., Trevose, Pa.

“We are extremely pleased that Frank Bardonaro is joining Terex Cranes,” said Rick Nichols, president Terex Cranes. “Coming from the distribution and operational side of our industry, Frank’s considerable knowledge will be a great asset to our Terex team as we develop even stronger dealer and customer relationships supported by superior aftermarket services. Frank will play an important leadership role as we continue building the Terex Cranes brand and our product offerings.  He will have direct responsibility for the Americas region, and will oversee the general managers who lead operations within the United States.”

Bardonaro brings to Terex a strong professional resume in the crane industry.  Prior to his tenure at Amquip, he was operations manager for Maxim Crane Rental, Bridgeville, Pa.  He is currently the chairman of the Specialized Carriers & Rigging Association (SC&RA), an international trade association of more than 1,300 members from 43 nations.

Bardonaro is assuming his new Terex Cranes role as Marco Gentilini transitions to the newly created position of vice president, Cranes Business Integration Projects, and will be based at the Terex offices in Westport.
