Bigge Expands Crane Rental Operations

Bigge Crane & Rigging, San Leandro, Calif., has recently expanded its operated and maintained crane rental operation. Bigge had been limited to offering operated and maintained crane rental to the San Francisco Bay Area, but recently expanded its offering of San Francisco crane rental to all seven states west of the Rockies. Bigge’s entire fleet is now available on an operated and maintained basis in both Northern and Southern California, as well as Oregon, Washington, Nevada, Idaho, Utah, and Arizona.

Bigge offers a wide selection of all terrain, crawler, hydraulic truck, tower, and rough terrain cranes, and rents an extensive inventory of boom trucks, forklifts, and other rigging equipment. With operated and maintained rentals, Bigge provides CCO-trained operators and expert rigging crews to assist in every facet of the crane’s operation, from including rigging in/out of crawler cranes to erection and dismantling of tower cranes.

Design, engineering and estimating departments are fully integrated into Bigge’s rental division, according to the company, which claims to have one of the industry’s best safety records, with an EMR of .58 and a TRIR of .57. "We had been repeatedly asked by our crane rental customers outside the San Francisco Bay Area to provide operated & maintained crane rental,” said Brian Noga, sales manager, “Bigge is now proud to bring the best safety record in the industry to all our customers in the Western United States."
