Canadian Importer Manulift Takes Delivery of 25 New Merlo Units

Equipment importer and distributor Manulift EMI, Sainte-Foy, Quebec, Canada, has taken delivery of 25 new machines from Italian manufacturer Merlo. The deliveries include nine Merlo P25.6 compact telehandlers, which represent the largest order of the same model since the introduction of Merlo products in 2004, said Jonathan Ledoux, national marketing director for Manulift. Ledoux says the P25.6’s compact size, 5,510-pound lifting capacity, and 20’ boom, make it ideal for applications requiring the ability to work in small buildings or spaces, for example nursery and agricultural work.

Ledoux also notes that the P25.6 offers excellent fuel and maintenance savings.

Ledoux says that, in total, more than 700 Merlo units have been sold in Canada during the last six years.
