Realizing that effective training will continue to play a critical role in the overall safety of crane and rigging operations, Crane Hot Line, published by Maximum Capacity Media LLC, Fort Dodge, Iowa, will recognize the industry's top trainers from both corporate and professional categories in an awards program to be featured in the November 2008 issue. Award winners will be granted scholarships to be used for educational purposes.
Trainers will be recognized for having a positive impact on students, the work environment or the industry through the use of innovative training techniques or hands-on instruction, by encouraging peer or corporate accountability, and/or through quantitative evidence that the training was successful.
The Top Trainer award is an excellent opportunity for crane rental companies, contractors, manufacturers, and training companies to showcase the safety and training employees within their organizations.
Nominations must be made by individuals who have received training from the candidate or by the trainer's superior. The trainer must be involved in crane, rigging, lifting or construction safety training. The trainer must have also been actively engaged in training between Aug. 1, 2007, and July 31, 2008. - Name of individual being nominated

- Indicate category: corporate or professional
- Area of training: crane, rigging, lifting, or construction
- In 500 words, explain how the trainer has had a positive impact on students, the work environment, or the industry through the use of innovative training techniques or hands-on instruction, by encouraging peer or corporate accountability, and/or through quantitative evidence that the training was successful.
