Pittsburgh, Pa.-based Allied Insurance Brokers has introduced two new nationwide insurance programs exclusive to crane operators. The first program provides general liability and auto coverage with an AM Best "A"-rated (Excellent) insurance company with deduction options and competitive premiums.
Other highlights include online access to certificates of insurance and auto ID cards; automobile minimal financial responsibility limits as required by law; the broadest riggers liability coverage available; and mobile equipment pollution coverage included with limits higher than the industry standard.
The second program is a worker's compensation policy available in all states that was specifically created for the crane industry. Coverage is offered through an insurer with an AM Best "A-" (Excellent) rating that specializes in worker's compensation. Highlights include safety and drug-free workplace credits available; the ability to issue certificates of insurance online; loss control services available; and a superior claims handling service.
