Donaldson Offers New Clean Diesel Fuel Kits | Construction News

Donaldson Co., Inc.  offers three clean diesel fuel kits, each designed to capture and contain contaminants in a single pass, before it's pumped into a vehicle's fuel tank.

"On average, diesel fuel in North America is delivered over 1,000 times dirtier than what's recommended for modern diesel engines," said Scott Grossbauer, global manager of Clean Fuel and Lubricant Solutions at Donaldson Co. "Plus, fuel and additive stability problems can bring a fleet to a standstill. The bottom line is: contaminated fuel is expensive – both in maintenance costs and lost revenue. Our new clean diesel fuel kits are easy to install and ensure equipment owners keep running by dispensing the cleanest possible fuel into all of their equipment."

These three new kits are recommended for all diesel and biodiesel blends. They filter with unmatched efficiency and are designed to clean diesel fuel to meet an ISO 14/13/11 rating in a single pass.

Standard (X011448)

• Protects diesel engines, reduces maintenance costs and prevents premature engine failure.
• Ideal for flow rates up to 65 GPM / 246 LPM.

High Capacity (X011450)

• Efficiently filters high-flow delivery systems with minimal pressure drop.
• Ideal for flow rates up to 125 GPM / 473 LPM.

Clean and Dry (X011449)

• Removes fuel contaminant, stops water as it leaves the bulk tank, and provides extra protection for fuel in storage.
• For flow rates up to 50 GPM / 189 LPM.
• The Donaldson TRAP™ breather protects the fuel in the tank by stripping moisture and particulate matter from incoming air, while allowing a high flow rate of fluid into and out of the tank.
