Electric Utility Fleet Managers Conference Tells Details of Educational Presentations

Organizers of the Electric Utility Fleet Managers Conference (EUFMC) have announced details of educational presentations for the 2011 national meeting at the Williamsburg Lodge and Conference Center, Williamsburg, Pa., June 19-22.

The topics and speakers for the sessions include:

  • Emerging Market Update— Bill Van Amburg, Sr. Vice President, Calstart-WestStart
  • News Standards for Cranes and Digger Derricks-- Joel Oliva, Program Manager, National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators; Jim Olsen, Product and Safety Engineer, Terex; Josh Chard, Manager-Prevention & Product Safety, Altec Industries
  • Acquisition and Funding Strategies— Mark Smith, National Technology Deployment Manager, National Clean Cities Program
  • Washington Update: Legislation and Regulations impacting Fleets— Pat O'Connor, President, Kent & O'Connor, Inc. and US Legislative Counsel, National Association of Fleet Administrators

EUFMC will also feature presentations about plug-in hybrid electric vehicles and a report on hybrid truck life experience by fleet managers. In addition, fleet strategies panels will cover acquisition, maintenance, parts, and 2010 emissions.
