Erectors from ALL Crane Family of Companies Attend Manitowoc Field School Training | Daily Construction News

Fifteen qualified erectors from the ALL Erection & Crane Rental Corp. Family of Companies attended a factory training class focusing on boom assembly and disassembly for Manitowoc crawler crane models 14000 and 16000, which are 220-USt and 440-USt capacities, respectively. The class was held at the ALL Crane headquarters in Cleveland, Ohio, Dec. 4-7, 2012.

The comprehensive training combined classroom work covering both models and hands-on experience working on a Manitowoc 16000 in the main ALL yard. Attendees came to Cleveland from several ALL branch yards.

“Assembly/disassembly has become a critical part of our business in order to meet the new OSHA crane regulations,” explains ALL Corporate Safety Director Kirk Ward. “We plan to hold more classes in our training center in Cleveland to accommodate more of our technicians, as this last class was booked up almost immediately.”

Rigorous technical training programs that surpass industry requirements are the cornerstone of the ALL Family of Companies’ mandate for ongoing employee education. ALL provides expert training—often by representatives from the best manufacturers—in the most current techniques, whether in advanced technology and repair/maintenance or the latest safety and regulatory updates.

“Highly trained employees who perform above and beyond our customers’ expectations help reinforce ALL’s reputation as a crane rental leader,” says Michael Liptak, president of the ALL Erection & Crane Rental Corp. “I’m pleased that our technicians take advantage of important factory training opportunities, not only to provide our customers the best service but also help them enhance their skills and confidence.”
