Fascan Named Exclusive Jekko Crane Distributor for U.S.

Fascan International Inc., Baltimore, Md., is now the exclusive United States distributor for Jekko cranes. Fascan and Jekko’s Italian manufacturer signed the five-year initial distribution agreement during last week’s ICUEE show in Louisville, Ky. Fascan displayed three Jekko models in their trademark bright-orange paint on its stand at the show. The distributor agreement covers all Jekko models, plus parts, service, and warranty support.

Fascan president and CEO Bernie Faloney sees great opportunities for Jekko’s mini cranes here. “Most people do not yet realize the potential for these cranes,” he said. “You can rent a 300-ton crane to get the reach needed to get into places to get at light equipment, or you can have a Jekko mini-crane to get inside and close to do the lifting.”
