GlobalSim Receives Two New Simulation Contracts

Draper, Utah-based GlobalSim, a leader in simulation training systems for the crane and material handling market, has announced the award of two new contracts for its crane and material handling simulators.

Puerto Rico Port Authority has awarded a contract to GlobalSim to provide an ML4000 for use in training operators for its new crane equipment at the Port of the Americas in Ponce, Puerto Rico. The simulator will be shipped in October, enabling training to begin before the completion of the port construction.

GlobalSim also received a new contract with JLG Industries, McConnellsburg, Pa., for the purchase of 11 MasterLift 3000 advanced training simulators for the new Atlas II 10,000-pound forklift used by the U.S. Army. This order adds to the five existing ML3000 simulators the Army is currently using.

“GlobalSim has been leading the industry with advanced commercial simulation products for many years,” said Clyde Stauffer IV, GlobalSim’s vice president of sales and marketing. “The Atlas II Forklift trainer is another example of a system that leverages the flexible base design of the MasterLift product line.”
