Grove, National Crane to Show New Cranes at ICUEE

Manitowoc Crane Group, Manitowoc, Wis., will display and demonstrate three cranes in Booth N2016 at ICUEE 2007, held Oct. 16-18 at the Kentucky Fair and Exposition Center in Louisville, Ky. The company will display innovative cranes from National Crane and Grove.

MCG will debut the National Crane Series 900H at ICUEE 2007. The 900H is a 29-ton capacity boom truck with H-style outriggers. The new H-style outriggers offer the advantage of full-span, mid-span, and retracted-span load charts. This model is available with a 69-, 95-, or 105-foot boom. The maximum tip height is 158 feet with the 105-foot boom and 44-foot jib. The 900H also features a fully integrated automotive-style wiring and CANbus control system and a full color graphical LMI (load moment indicator) system.

The Series 1400A is the largest of the National Crane products on display. The 33-ton capacity crane boasts a five-section, 127-foot boom and a maximum tip height of 171 feet when used with a jib. It also features an LMI and adjustable swing speed, both standard on the Series 1400 cranes. Self-lubricating Easy Glide pads provide the 1400A with smoother operation and an exclusive internal anti-two-block wire design eliminates snagging on obstructions.

Grove will display the newest model in its line of YardBoss industrial cranes. The 9-ton YB4409-2 offers full 360-degree continuous rotation capability. The YB4409-2 provides longer reach and higher capacity than other cranes in its class with a three-section, full-power boom that extends to a 38'2” tip height.
