ICUEE 2011 will Feature Crane and Rigging Safety Demonstrations

The 2011 International Construction and Utility Equipment Exposition (ICUEE), Louisville, Ky., will feature for the first time crane and rigging safety demonstrations from the National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators (NCCCO), Fairfax, Va., and International Powered Access Federation (IPAF), Cumbria, UK, with a focus on ensuring adequate ground support for the machine and load carried.

The show will again feature a general safety demo area which has focused on topics such as live-line safety and pole top/fall protection.

ICUEE is known as The Demo Expo, where utility and construction professionals can examine and compare the newest equipment and technologies— and test drive them in jobsite conditions— as well as discuss specific needs with industry experts. Attendees also have convenient access to industry-specific education and training, plus co-located events and programs, providing even more value for their show experience.

On the Ride & Drive track, attendees can test drive commercial vehicles “on the open road” to better examine not only the trucks but also engines and components, including transmissions, power systems, clutch and brake systems, safety and collision warning systems, fleet, fuel, GPS management systems, and hybrid and alternative fuel systems.

Advance registration for ICUEE 2011 is open and saves 50 percent off the onsite badge fee. Registering in advance for show education also saves attendees time and money. ICUEE 2011 will be held October 4-6, 2011 at the Kentucky Exposition Center, Louisville, Ky.
