Industry Remembers Rigging Trainer Arsenault

George Arsenault, an active member of the Association of Crane & Rigging Professionals, died Sunday, March 22. A former ironworker and rigger, Arsenault recently served as rigging trainer coordinator for heavy industrial contractor Cianbro, Pittsfield, Maine.

“His courage and stamina were truly remarkable,” a statement from the ACRP said. “Geo was inspirational as a rigger, trainer and as a good friend. We will all miss his confidence, his enthusiasm and his smile—he will not be forgotten.”

A wake will be held March 26 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at S. G. Thibault Funeral Home in Rumford, Maine. Mass will be held at 11 a.m. March 27 at the Holy Savior Catholic Church, also in Rumford.
