A panel of industry experts served as judges for the LLEAP Awards. Judges looked critically at each product before scoring the products on a scale from 1 to 10 in categories of innovation, influence, benefit and leadership. The Lift and Access staff then tallied the votes and took the average of the rankings after throwing out top and bottom scores to eliminate bias.

Judges this year included Steve Gooding, product support industry veteran; Mike Jordan, fleet manager for United Rentals; Howard Kaplan, safety manager for Southwest Industrial Rigging; Matt Rocca, president and CEO of GAR Equipment; Steve Shaughnessy, managing director for Loxam Access UK; Jeff Stachowiak, national director of safety training for Sunbelt Rentals; Lance Sullivan, fleet product and service management for Sunstate Equipment; Edmond Tamas, construction support engineer for Fluor Corporation. Lift and Access staff also served as judges.
